Man on YouTube video gazing into the distance as his wife gyrates in front of him

It’s the type of fantasy many men would own up to having – getting their wife to perform a sexy lapdance for them.

However, this husband seemed less than impressed when his partner donned a low-cut black dress to gyrate in front of him in this awkward minute-long video.

YouTube user Lancasterjr, believed to be from the US, posted the video with the caption: ‘The 1000 yard stare of a broken man,’ and it now has more than one million views.

A woman speaks to camera and explains it’s a ‘special’ video because she will be giving a lapdance to her husband

The video begins with the woman introducing the floorshow. She said: ‘This is a special video featuring my husband. It’s to Lana Del Rey’s “Lucky Ones” because we are the lucky ones.’

Her husband can be seen sitting down in a desk chair wearing a Hawaiian shirt and khaki trousers.

Even before it happens, he doesn’t appear excited and is seen resting his head on his hand.

He looks extremely unenthusiastic about the encounter as his wife goes to put the music on behind him and her derriere-skimming dress can be seen with a ruffled hem.

The wife then begins to shimmy in front of him but he continues to stoically sit looking miserable.

The woman appears to show the camera more attention than her husband and bends over to show the lens her cleavage and drops her head so a large back tattoo can be seen.

YouTube user Lancasterjr then appears to have changed the music as it cuts to ‘The Sound of Silence’ by Simon and Garfunkel.

As the lyrics ‘Hello darkness, my old friend’ can be heard, the woman continued to gyrate but with her eyes more focused on the camera. The video has also been slowed down to add to the melancholic effect.

The husband looks at his wife as she performs but his expression stays very neutral and he doesn’t even break a smile.

As she continues her dance, he scratches his neck and even looks away from his wife.

Although it’s not clear if this is because he was unhappy with the situation or was simply having a bad day.

His sadness has been noticed also by many commenters on YouTube, in the video which has been seen 1,500,000 times since it was posted on Friday.

Anthony Caputa posted: ‘This guy is definitely questioning some of his life choices.’

While Ian Wrigley pointed out: ‘The camera’s getting more t***y time than the husband. No wonder he’s f***ing bored.’

And Marc Sarazin made an extreme comparison, he wrote: ‘I’ve seen prisoners about to be executed with more excitement on their face than this guy.’
